The result of the proposal was not moved. I agree with you as well. However, there has been much discussion of this and if the currently enshrined exception is to change, doing it piecemeal is not the way to go and is a recipe for discord.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 02:18, 6 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Revert of addition to lead

This revert is peculiar. The intro SHALL contain some of the material that is in the following article. The article had a flag that the intro is too shoort. Ettrig (talk) 09:12, 23 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Ettrig: Not sure what you mean by "peculiar". I missed the lead-too-short template when I undid your edit. Nevertheless, I saw that your addition to the lead was redundant of material already contained two paragraphs below, and that it introduced new detail not found below, and so found it inappropriate for the lead section, especially given the size of the article body.
